Life's a Beach

Wow, it's been ages since I've been around here - entirely due to computer problems keeping me from logging-on to Second Life.

I've been using a one-year-old Windows laptop for playing in SL and it started to go kablooey on me - no matter what program I'd use to access SL it would crash after about 20 minutes - and eventually they just stop loading completely - they'd crash right on start-up - so I just got incredibly frustrated and stopped using this (stupid Windoze) computer at all, went back to peaceful and much-less-aggravating Mac-land and found other things to occupy my free time.

Then we had another of our cold grey 'summer' weekends here in Cloud-City a couple of weeks ago, so I looked at this laptop sitting on the desk mocking me and thought I'd try to connect again. I deleted every single Second Life viewer off my system, ran a bunch of system optimizing programs that claimed to be sprucing things up in the background, and then downloaded the newest version of Emerald viewer and the new Second Life viewer version 2.0 and three hours later - and I'm back in business baby!! WHOO!

This new Second Life viewer is pretty damn awesome. Stuff seems to load much faster, the docked windows are a HUGE and much needed improvement, and most importantly it's much more stable on my leotarded system.

So after all that work I needed to find a sunny place to relax - I hit the new search function to find a happy gay beach and this is where I ended up: Paradise Gay Beach.

This is a beautifully-designed clothing optional gay beach with lots of relaxing places to hang out and lounge and watch all the cute guy avatars walking around in various states of undress. It was the perfect place to hang out in my new, short blond-guy shape.

I'm a bit too shy to do the naked sun-tanning thing in RL very often, so its a bit of a kick to be able to do it in SL. If you ever want to check out the nekkid gay scene in Second Life Paradise Gay Beach is most-definitely worth checking out!
